Diagnosis you can defend

Prove the fault before you order the part.

Ohmix reads the workshop manuals you already own and answers out of them — the ranked causes, the measurement that settles it, and the page number behind every line.

Ohmix · answerIllustration
AskedInsulation fault on the HV pack, no visible damage. Where do I measure first?
AnsweredIsolate at the service disconnect and wait out the capacitor discharge. Then take the insulation reading at the battery disconnect unit — connector BD1 pin 1 (HV+) to the chassis stud, then pin 2 (HV−) — at 500 V DC. This variant is in tolerance at 100 MΩ or above; below that, the manual sends you to the module harness connector next.
CitedService manual · section 24 · p. 612
WithheldThe cited page gives no limit for the same reading taken at the module harness, so Ohmix says the manual is silent there rather than estimating one.
Illustration of the answer format. The connector, pins and limit above are stand-ins, not a spec for any vehicle. A real answer carries the ones printed in your own manual, on the page it cites.
Cited to the page
Every technical value carries the manual page it came from. Print it and attach it to the claim.
Nothing invented
If your manuals do not state it, Ohmix says so instead of filling the gap with something plausible.
Your library only
Built from the documents you upload, each organisation separated at the database layer.
Your technicians' languages
The answer arrives in the language the technician works in, from the same cited page.
§01Proof

“Why not just paste the PDF into a chatbot?”

Because a warranty claim is not a conversation. Four things happen here that a general assistant cannot do, and each one is a mechanism rather than a promise.

01 It only reads your library. Answers are built from the documents your organisation uploaded. Nothing else is in scope, so a forum post cannot end up inside a procedure.
02 It shows the page, every time. Every technical value is validated against the cited page before it reaches a report — not attached afterwards as a reference.
03 It says when your manuals are silent. Unsupported figures are withheld. “The sources do not state this” is a first-class answer here, not a failure to produce one.
04 It will not authorise a part on a hunch. A part replacement is authorised only when a confirming technician measurement exists — enforced server-side, never by the model's own claim.
§02Modules

One instrument for the whole workshop.

Diagnosis, documentation and training run off a single source of truth — the official manuals you already own.

01 / DIAGNOSE

Fault diagnosis

Feed in scan data, DTCs, freeze-frame, photos and symptoms. Ohmix returns a structured diagnosis: the likely cause, the checks to run, and the decisive test before any part is ordered.

Every claim carries its page
02 / ASK

Ask the manual

Ask in plain language — an exact torque value or a complete removal procedure — and get the answer straight from the official documentation, wiring diagrams read pin by pin.

03 / TRAIN

Training academy

Every solved case becomes a lesson your next apprentice starts from. Understanding, not exams — so technicians level up on the job rather than off it.

§03The loop, filmed

One fault, start to finish, in eight seconds.

A technician asks Ohmix about a wiring fault at the car, in plain language, and the answer comes back out of the workshop's own manuals — with the section and page it came from, and the one value the page does not state left blank rather than guessed.

Dramatised demonstration. The presenter is generated and the figures quoted in it are illustrative rather than measured results; the screens are real captures of this site.
§04Fitting it

Your manuals already hold the answer. They are just nine hundred pages long.

OP 10

Hand over the library

Workshop manuals, wiring diagrams, training decks — as they are. No tagging, no cleanup, no naming convention.

OP 20

Read to the last page

A manual is only marked indexed once its index verifiably reaches the last page of the document. A truncated index fails loudly instead of quietly answering from half a book.

OP 30

Answer at the car

Your technicians get sourced diagnoses and visual lessons in their own language, minutes after they ask — while the job is still open.

A technician leaning over the open bonnet of an electric car in a service bay, holding a diagnostic tablet showing a wiring diagram while tracing a harness connector by hand.
On the bay

The same manual page the diagnosis cites is the one on the technician's screen — at the car, in their language, while the job is still open.

Manufacturers & importers — standardise the network from one place · Dealer groups — fewer wrong-part orders on warranty work · Independent workshops — the marque's own manual, for a badge you see twice a year

§05Due diligence

We are new. You should hear that from us.

No customer logos on this page and no testimonials — we have not earned them yet, and a fabricated one is the first thing a warranty auditor would catch. What we can give you is the mechanism, in writing.

Where it lives
Database, file storage and every server-side function run in Ireland. Your documents are stored in the EU. Transfers
Who can see it
Each organisation's data is scoped to that organisation, enforced at the database layer with row-level security — not only in the interface — and verified by a negative isolation suite before any schema change ships.
Never training data
Your documents and case data are not used to train Ohmix models, and are not shared to train anyone else's.
Who else touches it
Every processor we use is named, with what it does and where it runs, and the register is maintained rather than summarised here. The register
It stays yours
The manuals and case data you upload remain yours, exportable at any time. After the service ends we delete them on request, with no waiting period. Deletion
Authorised uploads only
You upload only documentation your organisation owns or is licensed to hold — the clause is in the terms, so your OEM relationship is not quietly your technician's problem. Clause 8

And what is not in place yet

No ISO 27001, no SOC 2, no third-party certification and no OEM approval. No independent penetration test has been carried out. There is no contractual uptime commitment and no incident-response SLA — the 48-hour breach notification in the DPA is a narrower thing. The database is backed up nightly with about a week retained and no point-in-time recovery, and those backups do not cover uploaded documents. All of it is set out on the Trust centre, which is the page to send your reviewer to.

The terms, the privacy notice and the DPA are themselves still drafts — each opens by saying it is not yet in force, and the company registration details in them are left blank. They are published so your reviewer can read exactly what we intend to sign, not because they are signable today.

§06Plans

Buy the module that pays for itself. Add the rest when it does too.

Each tool is priced on its own, and any combination is capped — so the third module is never the one that decides it. Every one starts with fourteen days and no card.

Ask the manual

Unlimited manuals in, cited answers out in a minute or two — wiring diagrams read properly, pin by pin.

€29,90/ month

Trial: 100 questions free

Diagnose the fault

Ranked causes, the decisive measurement, and a report that cites your own documentation on every line — the traceability a warranty file needs.

€59,90/ month

Trial: 10 diagnoses free

Training academy

Every solved case becomes a lesson your next apprentice starts from.

€39,90/ month

Trial: 10 lessons free

All three priced separately come to €129,70 €99,90 a month — the cap does the arithmetic, so adding the third module costs €10,10 rather than €39,90.

Prices are per workspace — one per organisation — and exclude VAT. Access inside it is per named individual; your seat allowance is shown in the workspace under Usage & billing. Several sites, or a larger team? Tell us the structure and we will confirm the seats before you start.

Fourteen days, no card
Nothing is charged during the trial, and nothing is charged automatically when it ends.
Enough to judge it
100 manual questions, 10 diagnoses and 10 training lessons, across all three modules.
It ends read-only
Your manuals, cases and reports stay exactly as they were. Nothing is deleted and nothing is withheld from export.
Real work, not a sandbox
You run it on your own manuals and your own open jobs, because that is the only test that answers the question.
§07Start

Put it on a real fault this week.

Upload one manual, take the next difficult car that books in, and see whether the answer comes back with a page number you can defend. That is the whole evaluation.

Work email, your organisation, one manual — then it starts indexing. If it does not earn its place in fourteen days, do nothing and it stops.
